Go online or elsewhere and find a copy of Poe’s The Masque of the Red Death. Pay close attention to the descriptions Poe gives about the setting. He does provide lots of information so you will have to use your skills to determine your focus. The description essay will include things such as the time period, the weather, the kinds of houses and buildings around, the behavior of the people, costumes they are wearing, and anything else you want to include to portray what you would see if you were there.
