Activity 1: MATH ACTIVITY CARDS

As part of the requirements of this class you are to:

  • You will create 24 different activity cards; which includes two for each 12 mathematical concept studied using the following format:

Activity Card

One-to-One Correspondence Shoes and Socks PK-1

Objective:

The children will learn the concept of One-to-One correspondence using shoes and socks.

Materials:

Cut-outs of various shoes and socks, three for each student, glue, one sheet of paper for each child.

Procedure:

Have children choose 1 shoe and glue it on the paper, then choose one sock and glue it next to the shoe. Continue with two more.

*Assessment:

In the art center using a folder game with dogs and bones, and have the children put 1 bone with 1 dog that is on the folder.*
